Plot Summary

The film begins with a meteor shower that causes a mysterious virus to spread across the city of Boston. The virus turns people into violent and bloodthirsty creatures that attack anyone who is not infected. Ben Mosher (Bellows) and Lisa Wallace (Roy) are two reporters who work for the Boston Daily News. They witness the chaos and carnage caused by the infection and try to find out the truth behind it.

They discover that the virus is actually an alien parasite that is using humans as hosts to reproduce and take over the planet. They also learn that the government is aware of the situation and is planning to nuke the city to contain the outbreak. Ben and Lisa team up with an eccentric scientist named Dr. Kozak (Dinsmore), who claims to have a cure for the infection. Together, they try to expose the conspiracy and save the city from annihilation.
